Children’s Dentistry

Children’s Dentist Randwick

Starting early and having regular dental visits ensures that children develop good oral hygeine habits that last a lifetime.

The Australian Dental Association recommends children have their first dental visit at 12 months of age.

Children who see their dentist regularly are more relaxed, have less problems and are less likely to be afraid of dental treatment.

Children Dental Benefit Scheme

Children aged between 2-17 years may be eligible to receive $1000 of dental treatment from Medicare over a period of 2 years. Please contact your local Medicare office to find out if your child is eligible for this benefit. If you have received a letter in the mail entitling your child/children to this benefit, simply bring this letter to our office and we are able to provide dental treatment for them.

“My 3yr old has his first visit to the dentist and it was a really positive experience for him. Our dentist was wonderful and explained everything that was happening.

He got to watch tv on the screen above his head, which I can see will be really useful for in the future if he ever needs treatment! He even got a certificate and sticker.”
